When:
June 3-7
What: Join us in making a difference in the Dominican Republic!
Price: $175 per night. Flight excluded.
Why: We're dedicated to serving the community by delivering sports equipment, renovating a playground at the Compassion Food Distribution site, and engaging in sports like basketball, baseball, and volleyball
with local students. All while sharing
the Hope of Jesus Christ.
Did you know that FCA staff is making a difference in the Dominican Republic, too? Our teammates Miguel and Rosie Terrero, have been faithfully serving the D.R. for over 12 years!
North Texas FCA visited our teammates last year, blessing them with baseball gear and equipment to host a camp and continue FCA's mission of leading every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church!
This year, we're aiming to go even further! Our Dominican FCA staff partners with Compassion International in the Sugar Cane Community. Compassion International operates a food distribution center along with an after-school program, and FCA has been actively involved in supporting these initiatives. As a team, we're excited to contribute by repairing a playground and other sports equipment. During our free time, we'll engage the community in various sports like basketball, volleyball, and baseball while sharing the hope of Jesus Christ.

The Sugar Cane Community
Miguel joined FCA DR in 2013 as one of the first three staff members. In the fall of 2016, he moved almost 2 hours east from Boca Chica to begin FCA ministry in the city of Higuey, and in 2020 he was offered, and accepted, the position of country director for all of FCA DR ministry.
Rose partially grew up on the mission field and has extensive experience working with non-profit ministries. She moved to the DR in 2015 and met Miguel at a training conference in January of 2016. After getting married in 2017, Rose joined the administrative team of FCA DR to assist in running the behind the scenes work - a role that has since expanded into Director of Administration and Communication.
Together, they are passionate about making an impact in the lives of people everywhere and eagerly follow their calling to go and make disciples of all nations.
They welcomed their first son, Malakai, in 2019, and their second, Ahdriel, in November 2021.
